| Who |
Bob Jones. Born 1932. Grey scruffy beard. White bushy eye brows. Tanned wrinkly skin. Dark brown deep set eyes. Big ears and nose. Square chin. Scruffy medium length grey hair. He liked wearing a well worn brown Akubra hat. |
| Where |
Mt Shadwell, Mortlake |
| What |
Bob would often go shooting rabbits both for food and to sell around Mt Shadwell. |
| When |
1963 |
| How |
He would ride his big grey horse Ned until he found some good rabbit ground. He would then tie Ned up, load up his trusty double barrelled shot gun and tread carefully on the hunt. |
| Why |
For a start it was a great break from the back breaking work on the farm. His family were very poor and he would sell any spare skins and meat. The money was used to feed and care his horse and purchasing shot gun cartridges for the next hunt. |
